inspired by dixon's long post on his blog at http://carbonpunk.blogspot.com i've found the motivation to blog after so many days.. and of cuz the purpose is to note down my prelims results so tt i can rmb them even years later.. haha recently it has been boring, studying in sch and headaches and results.. stupid.. it's two weeks away from the O levels and i'm still not puttin in enuff effort, still havin fun with my frens haha..

ok now for the report.. first, let us start with ENGLISH. B4 oral, 34/40.. compre also 34/50.. significant improvement from the midyears, gettin twice as much.. haha and for the idiotic compo i got 16 - 3 / 30 for section A. WHY?? becuz of tt question number thingy, den 15/30 for functional writing becuz i wrote in specific comments and also insufficient points to back up my opinion.. hope to salvage the situation cuz i'm havin tuition tml!! if not for the question number, i could have gotten b3! ARGH!!

next up is HIGHER CHINESE, 44/70 for compo, wasnt a bad result for my poorly described story and an unexpected 16/20 for ying yong wen.. look like good grades huh? in the end i got C5 haha cuz i got 55.5/110 for paper 2.. my chinese compre jus sux, my answers are never right! let me forget abt this subject..

COMBINED HUMANITIES, a disappointing 28/50 for my social studies.. 11/25 for my source based! OMG tt is like so stupid, call tt antique or unique my inference of the source is just diferent from the others.. for both the inference and comparison, i came up with inferences tt ppl nv tot of and ofcuz these were answers teachers wuld nv accept! the structured was 17/25, unworhty mark in my opinion cuz i felt tt i did state the link but the mark wasnt given.. well well, ms ng says no askin for marks so wad more could i hav done?? tick meng mentioned, during o level we wuldnt even get the chance to look at the marked scripts so i'll jus hope the o level marker understands my answers.. haha for e. geog, i surprised myself when i got 40! tt is like woah! as usual, the map work was poorly done and other marks were deducted here and there.. i was lucky tt nanhua decided to give the question on acid rain cuz it's quite familiar for me.. so in total, i got 68/100, thanks to the moderation by the school i got 69.1 which means an A2.. so soo sooo tyco.. but more tyco things are comin

BIOLOGY, the subject i studied but nv pinned hopes on.. i got an A1, a scraped a1 with 74.166666%.. i did poorly for the MCQ and it was all the askin of marks from paper 2 tt saved me.. my crappish answer abt the worm didnt save me but my kinda close short answers yielded a few tyco marks so somehow i got an a1.. hell, i'm not using BIO though.. 30/40 for MCQ and 59/80 for paper 2

the next science is CHEMISTRY, a safe A1 at 80%, just an average result in class.. mr liu's efforts in the class did pay off but not for me cuz i slacked for chemistry, you could call tt complacency, but i jus didnt seem to want to put tt much effort in chemistry.. and yeah, stupid mistakes here and there but i'm jus glad to hav kept tt A1.. it took a bit of not studying to lose marks and a bit of luck to gain some marks.. 33/40 for MCQ and 63 / 80 for paper 2

last science is PHYSICS, most probably it's becuz some other students didnt put tt much effort in physics so i got the chance to top the class.. a not very awesome 90% but i'm pretty happy with it, especially the 75/80 for my paper 2.. wad was disappointing was the 33/40 for my MCQ cuz there were very very stupid mistakes in there but nvm.. likewise, it's good to hav tt safe A1..

emath was quite a scrape too! EMATH, i got 64/80 for my paper 1 and 81/100 for paper 2, i forgot the % but u can do the math and find the %, a not very safe A1, according to dixon and chuharn cuz the whole singapore is takin emath so u gotta get quite high to secure tat a1.. so maybe i gotta avoid mroe of those careless mistakes like using 1.02 instead of 1.2 and many many more.. avoid those and i should be on my way to my a1!

lasty, its AMATH! mr yeo said hard work pays off and tt's wad i saw in my amath, i finished every single paper the math teacher gave to me and finally got my desired A1.. 66/80 for P1 and 65/80 for P2.. more careless mistakes could have been avoided but i should be satisfied with the result..

so tat's all bah.. i reali gotta try, try harder to improve my 10.. and yeah, i jus cut my hair yesterdae and havin conference at the moment.. haha new hairstyle and new spirit hopefully for tml!!
